Bismarck

We went to Bismarck this weekend for a little get a way trip. We did the 4 hour drive on Friday and stayed in a hotel so the kids could go swimming. That is one thing they miss about Texas a lot! We were always at the pool! It is much harder in Grand Forks to go swimming all the time.
Bryan and Parker were doing some male bonding and went hunting. Bryan is trying to get Parker hooked. Parker hates all the walking. He says, "I would rather sleep in and read a book all day!" Dont know where he gets that!haha. They had fun though. Long story short they were crawling on their bellies to get thru this area but couldnt find the bird they shot. Belle took off and they were worry about trying to find her! However before you know it she came crawling back with the bird in her mouth. Parker thought all this was really cool and so he was excited to keep hunting. They didnt get anything else though but it sounds like they had fun.
Lilah, Collin and me decided to check out the town. We went to the mall, had orange julius (havent had one of those in a long time!), picked out presents, went to hobby lobby (we dont have one in Grand Forks and I miss it!), looked at the animals in Petsmart, and got to see two real reindeer at a different mall. It was nice just to spend time with the kids and relax.
Afterwards we all had dinner together at Ruby Tuesdays and packed back in the car for the ride home. It was a fun weekend!
