Grown Ups

On Friday Bryan and me got to be kid free for the night! Parker was having a lock-in at the church and Lilah and Collin went over to our friends house to stay the night and play. After packing them all up and sending them out the door we found ourselves plopping down on the couch and not moving. I wanted to crawl into sweats and just do nothing. Bryan was feeling the same way but said we would kick ourselves in the butt later if we didnt go out and have a night of being grown ups. We ending up having a GREAT night. We got ourselves ready and went over to a little martini bar to have a drink. It was only 9pm so we pretty much had the place to ourselves and didnt have to yell to hear each other. I had the Best Lemon Drop Martini. I begged the bartender to give me his secret! Afterwards we went and watched Sherlock Holmes. It was really good and had lots of humor. With the british accents and how fast they talk I was needing some subtitles though. After we got home and crawled into bed we decided it had been a wonderful night of just being Grown Ups!
