Once a day:
-Touch your spouse. (Hug or kiss in the morning. Hold hands in the car.)
-Laugh with your spouse (The average child laughs 300 times a day. The average adult only laughs 13 times a day)
Once a week:
-Boost your spouse's self-esteem (Self-esteem is not what we think of ourselves but what we think the most important person in our lives thinks of us..read that nice and slow. This is also great advice for our kids)
-Do something your spouse likes to do. (Each of you make a list of ten things you like to do. Your spouse picks out a few and does 1 with you every week. This is for us who have been married for a while and get comfortable. We stop doing things we dont like to do even if our spouse likes to do them)
Once a month:
-Rid harmful stuff (this is about talking. Looking at yourself and your relationship and talking about it. Is there anything you need to talk about that just you are struggling with or you see in your marriage. Has your spouse been moody or upset and you want to check to see if they are ok)
-Bring passion in the bedroom (dont only have sex once a month but spice things up once a month. Try something new, be the person to initiate, surprise your spouse, you get the idea!)
