Weekend

We had a nice relaxing family filled weekend. Which included:

Going to the library with the kids. I love that my kids are just as excited as me to go.

Enjoyed our chiminea!

Yard work with Bryan. Parker helped Bryan with the last back patch of the yard and told Bryan, "I dont know how Mom does this, it is HARD!"

Grocery shopping. Bryan use to do all the shopping in Texas. Since we have moved here I have done all the grocery shopping. Bryan went with me on this trip and I decided I like going by myself :)

Raw Oyster night. Disgusting if you ask me but the kids decided they liked them and Bryan found out he had to share the 11 oysters he ended up getting.

Bryan, our youth group, and me all went and watched Prince of Persia. Wasnt too excited to see it (I wanted to see Robin Hood) but ended up really liking it.

Bryan gave the boys haircuts. I was not too happy about Collins cut but Collin loves it. I call him Jarhead. Glad it will grow out.

Talked to my sister Tanya on the phone A LOT! Love you Sister!

Bryan had to study so the kids and me rode our bikes up to the park and had a picnic. It was so beautiful out and we had so much fun. Going to do that a lot more this summer.

Watched Spy Next Door with the kids in our PJ's

Played Rummy with Bryan and Parker. It is our new thing. Parker is getting really good.

Went to a late dessert night at Applebees to finish off our long weekend. Three desserts of pure chocolate and tons of family laughter.

  1. Your comment about liking to go to the grocery store by yourself cracked me up! I feel the same way b/c I always spend at least $20 more when my dear husband comes with me!!! :)
