Our family is in love with fishing right now. We go up to the state park and fish the river. They stock it with trout. A day fishing with the kids looks like this:
-Hooking worms
-lots of crying if things dont go just right
-Catching of frogs, clams, and fish. Collin trying to take his frog home in his pocket. His mother however has seen Old Yeller too many times for that to work.
-Getting hooked in the arm OUCH!
-untangling line from around children
-trying to get the hook out of a tree or a bush
-Lots of snacks and drinks (too keep the wild ones happy)
-bare feet in the river :)
-Laughter and love
Awww... I grew up fishing and spending days just like that, but I haven't been in ages. When I saw your pictures it made me miss it so much! Your kids will have such great memories of these times.
