Summer Plans
Summer has begun! I have mixed feelings about this summer. Im super excited because we have lots of cool things happening. Im totally bummed because I feel like I should be home with the kids instead of having to work. Here is what we have planned:
-Collin is playing T-ball. Because of my work schedule I dont get to see any of the pratices or games but thanks to the wonderful Lindsey Pell he makes it each day. I also get to see lots of videos and pictures! He is a natural, of course ;)
-Lilah leaves on June 18 for a five day church camp. She has been doing lots of fundraising events to make money to go. Next up is deliving phone books for the post office route. She is super excited to go and I know she will have tons of fun. Our house will be really quiet while she is away.
-Parker officially started youth group. It is interesting to see him in this new setting. As of now he still likes me as his youth leader. Im glad he also got reunited with his best bud Jonah who has been in youth for a year now.
-At the end of June I will be stepping down from youth and in August starting up a college group. I cant wait to see how God uses me in this.
-The kids just did a two day art camp, they are signed up every wed for a fun activity through the library, they got swim passes for the public pool, and we got 2 free games of bowling all summer long!
-Meghan comes to visit in July!!!! I cant wait!!!! She is running the 5k Color Run with me in Minneoplis. It is going to be awesome! Havent heard of it, look it up. Then we drive over to Idaho with 3 kids and 2 dogs. Cant wait to see all the family on both sides.
-In August we are going on a camping trip with our friends the Fullers. It is in Itasca Park which I have wanted to go to since we moved here. They have 4 kids so it should be crazy, loud, and fun!
-Im playing sand volleyball again this summer. Ive come to realize that I really love and enjoy it.
And Best of all Bryan comes back at the end of August. It will be so nice to have him here all the time instead of just weekends.
Hope you all have a relaxing and fun summer!
