Dear Friday Night Lights
I loved you so much! I must say that now that its all over I feel like I lost a wonderful friend. You made me cry, laugh, and at times scream at you. I really enjoyed watching you at the same time as my sister. We had many long talks and texts about you. From the very beginning I loved Coach and Mrs. Taylor. Their relationship made me laugh out loud! Their love for each other was inspiring and touching. Mrs. Taylor my second favorite character on the show! Thanks for having that relationship at the core of your show. It was refreshing to see a relationship on TV that had ups and downs but with love it still lasted. Im a little pissed at you about Tim Riggins. He was my favorite character and you broke him at the beginning of season 5. With only 2 episodes left you tried to redeem him but I was still a little disappointed when it all was over. I also think you should have stuck with the God thing you had going on with Lyla. Riggins and her could have been great with God! You are one of my favorite shows of all time. The only other tv series I have been so wrapped up in was Friends. Thanks for the ride. I will miss you ;0

I was SO terribly sad when we finished that show too. It was probably one of my favorites of all time. (Lost and Parenthood are the only close competitors.) We loved Coach and Tammy (I loved the scene where they get in an argument under the kitchen table!), and I totally agree with everything you said about the whole show. I really loved it. I got mad at the end about Julie too. I think the affair thing went a bit too far. But I loved Matt. And the whole crew. I miss the show so much! I want to go back and re-watch. Do you watch Parenthood? It's one of the best shows out there. And Luke from FNL is on there and I love seeing a familiar face!
ReplyDeleteI know they kind of made you hate Julie too with that whole affair thing. She was a snot. I was a roller coaster with her, somtimes I liked her and other times I hated her. I thought Matt was the only reason I liked her...he made you love her by how much he loved her. Natalie just told me about Parenthood! It will be my next show! I miss you Bre!!!
