-The Gorge is beautiful! I have always wanted to see a concert there and it is so worth it. A concert outside is just perfect. You cant find a better place.
-We walked in around 8pm and by the time we made it to our seats we had seen 3 grown men puking, countless females falling completely over, a girl with not so nice words on her forehead in sharpie, and enough trash to last a life time! It was a BIG party and Im really glad we had seats in VIP. Kept us away from the CRAZINESS of it all.
-Guess what? Its legal to smoke pot in Washington. Dont believe me go to a concert at the Gorge. I must say the air smelled beautiful all night long. Our seat location was a prime spot for a quick stop to smoke your joint.
-Mumford and Sons were so Amazing! Words cant even describe. Bryan and I listened to them on the car ride home and we both realized that seeing them ruined everything for us! They were so awesome live that listening to them on the radio now is so disappointing. It doesnt even come close to hearing them at that concert! We are already plotting how we can see them again.
-Imagine Dragons was our soak and wet concert. They started an hour behind schedule because of stage changing problems. We sat under a sleeping bag in the pouring rain waiting and waiting. They put on great show though. They have huge drums that you can feel inside of you when they play them. The crowd loved them and they brought tons of energy. Afterwards we had to sit in the truck for an hour with the heater on full blast but it was worth every minute.
-Last was The Lumineers. I love them! Our seats were right above the floor section and we had watched the crowd during the other shows. The energy level was something you have to experience. My husband is not a crowd person. Starts to freak out a little when squeezed close. I love crowds. Everything about them. So he went to our seats and I pushed and shoved myself near the stage. Dancing, Singing, Squeezed together with a bunch of people smelling like pot....it was perfect!! I fought my way back to Bryan after 3 songs. Then the Lumineers came up to the VIP section to perform 2 songs. We got to be right next to them. It was a perfect way to end the weekend.
